Bangkok--9 Aug--Spark Communications
Stiebel Eltron, Thailand's leading manufacturer of water heaters, water filters and hand-dryers, will launch new products this year as the company continues to expand the business.
The company, which was formed in 1924 in Germany, has its Asian headquarters and production site in Ayutthaya and since then, has expanded to two factories which helped expands its business streams in the Thai market.
Despite the stagnant global economy, Stiebel Eltron recorded steady growth in 2015 and expects to reach its target of 5 per cent growth by the end of the year. In 2015, the company reported revenues of more than one billion Baht.
Stiebel Eltron plans to continue to focus on sales channels in Bangkok but will also look to create more sales platforms to reach more customers as the market shifts online. The company has added online distribution channels as well as Line@ service to optimize their service to customers.
Roland Hoehn, Managing Director of Stiebel Eltron Asia, explained "It is important to continue to develop and adapt our business to the evolving economy and technology. We are confident that our improved distribution network, increased support for key accounts and enhanced product range will add growth to our figures this year."
Committed to achieving an extensive range of products for all budgets, Stiebel Eltron will launch two new water heaters which include the XG Limited Gold Edition (5,990THB) and the DX H2OT (2,990 THB). Moreover, the company recently added 'Nature' to their water filter line-up. The water filter will be sold for 9,900 THB.
The DX H2OT heater is launched with a fresh new range of colors so that homeowners can enhance their bathroom designs. Each unit, with a choice of green, orange, yellow and blue, adds a new dimension to bathroom design and creates color matching opportunities.
A new initiative globally for Stiebel Eltron this year is to promote a low-carbon global economy. As a leader of innovation, Stiebel Eltron has brought the German engineering standards to Thailand. The company's engineers have developed a new system that allows new housing to utilize renewable energy. The system is incorporated into the new building design and Stiebel Eltron heat pumps are a key factor in the energy saving design. This pioneering system is expected to be rolled out at more housing development projects in Thailand in the future.
