Bangkok--30 Aug--Museflower Retreat & Spa Museflower Retreat & Spa Chiang Rai (www.musefloweretreat.com) is delighted to announce its second annual Life Festival - bigger, better, with more workshops and classes than before, coming this October 7-10, 2016. Already internationally known as northern Thailand's most unique and leading holistic wellness retreat after only two years in operation, Museflower Retreat & Spa Chiang Rai is set to celebrate all things healing and green with the Museflower Life Festival. Through the weekend event of workshops, fitness classes, free and discounted health counseling sessions, alternative therapies, signature spa treatments, nutritious vegetarian buffets, wellness gifts and prizes, the Museflower Life Festival aims to share knowledge and inspire people to learn more about holistic wellbeing. Open to the public and in-house guests, a modest entrance fee of THB 800 per person per day gives access to attend all talks, workshops, fitness and wellness classes, holistic therapy demonstrations, swim in Thailand's first Himalayan crystal salt pool, and more. The pass includes a delicious, nutritious, lacto-ovo vegetarian lunch buffet picked fresh the same morning from the retreat's on-site organic farm and egg farm. Guests can also opt to simply pay THB 400 per class to attend only the sessions they choose. A mix of international guests from Hong Kong and the US have already booked to attend the festival, in addition to the local community attending from Chiang Rai and northern hub Chiang Mai "This Museflower Life Festival 2016 is our second anniversary event where we organize different types of wellness classes taught by various teachers and practitioners," says Tania Ho, Museflower Retreat & Spa's founder, owner, and resident holistic practitioner. "The festival aims to join the community together to celebrate healing and wellness, to share knowledge and healing so that people can see what we are all about here. We welcome everyone to come to discover and try different wellness modalities that they normally might not have access to, or learn about new alternative therapies, all at a very low cost. It's also a great opportunity to get together with like-minded people, socialize and share their knowledge." The weekend festival will kick off with a welcome talk to introduce Museflower Retreat & Spa, along with the charity it supports, the Emoto Peace Project in Japan. In between lectures, guests can enjoy free shoulder massages in the lakeside sala offered by the Museflower Spa therapists. At last year's festival, Debbie Chan, an educational consultant from Hong Kong, said "The Hado counseling experience was my favorite part of the festival. It could measure and show my conscious and subconscious negative emotions exactly, even when I meant to hide it. It taught me that I should be aware of my avoidances and my feelings of sadness. I gained a lot of new energy from this pure land. I hope I can come back to Museflower for every future Life Festival." Guest can look forward lucky draw prizes ranging from free massages to Hado counseling sessions, and go home with a Museflower gift bag filled with healthy goodies including pink Himalayan crystal salt, health drinks from the Royal Projects, and more. This year's line-up features a stable of more visiting international wellness practitioners and teachers than before, with offerings such as Somatic Movement workshop, Fast Track healing technique, Spiritual and Shamanic healing, Laughter Yoga, DanceMandala Meditation, Hado Energy Therapy Counseling, Spiritual Abundance workshop. plus yoga, Pilates, floating lanterns, and other fun activities. Museflower Retreat & Spa and the Life Festival help to attract more and more people for health and wellness travel to Chiang Rai where life is much greener and calmer than its bigger and more famous northern neighbor Chiang Mai, which is getting more and more crowded and congested, and urban. Gert De Schaepmeester, a tour manager living in Chiang Mai, attended last year's inaugural festival and says "I gained so much more than I expected last year! I enjoyed the inspirational talks and different classes, mingling with all the people and re-connecting with Reiki. I'll definitely come back next time." Museflower Life Festival takes place Oct. 7 - 10, 2016 (10 am-5.30 pm). A discount festival package room rate is available for the full festival weekend program, priced from THB 9,290 to THB 11, 120, depending on the room type. Guests who stay in house for the weekend get special bonus morning and evening activities.
