Bangkok--31 Aug--Krungthai Card KTC reaffirms the position as leader in lifestyle marketing by offering privileges in three high-potential interest groups: Reading and Learning, Pet Lover and Toys and Games, as they have shown 15% growth in the first half of the year. To this end, KTC will work with major partners and roll out multiple activities throughout the year. It is expected that credit card spending in these interest categories will increase by at least 20% by the end of the year. When we look at the combined spending in these three categories, the trend appears to be on the rise with 15% growth in the first half of 2016, over the same period of 2015. To be precise, the growth is 3% in Reading and Learning category, 29% inToys and Games category and 24% in Pet Lover category. The number of members spending with their credit card in these three categories have increased also. The increase is 12% in the first half of 2016, over the same period of 2015, or precisely 6% in Reading and Learning category, 35% in Toys and Games category and 23% in Pet Lover category. We will work with major partners to give members privileges such as discount and premium gifts, while at the same time leverage on the use of KTC FOREVER REWARDS points and KTC FLEXI 0% installment plan. KTC will take part in events and workshops which correspond with the diverse needs of our members as well," Privileges in Reading and Learning Category KTC encourages the Thai people to read more for self-development where their professional and personal lives are concerned. Privileges are being offered at bookstores and publishing houses across Thailand including Asia Books and Bookazine, CU Book Center, SE-ED Book Center and DMG Books. Arrangements are made with the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT) to offer members privileges at the "Books Fair" event as they embark on the roadshow to major cities: KhonKaen, Hadyai, Udonthani and Bangkok. Privileges in Pet Lover Category The marketing effort in this category will involve connected partners such as veterinary hospitals, pet food stores, grooming shops and other pet-related service providers. Difference will be made as few credit card companies engage in similar marketing. The privileges being offered to our pet-loving members include up to 15% discount at leading retailers including Pet Lover Center & Pet Safari, Pet Pro Group, Kittisak Pets Mart, DogDays and Pet Master – an integrated pet business with innovations specifically for dogs and cats. Privileges in Toys and Games Category Children's toys help enhance brain development and creativity, and collectible toys for grown-ups usually come with a high price tag, suggesting that the members are of a high purchase power, and that it is consistent with KTC's strategy to expand member base at the premium level. Our partners in this category are Kiddo Pacific, Toy "R" Us, Play House, Zest and Mega Plaza.
