Bangkok Bank's Indonesia Branch General Manager Chalit Tayjasanant, Indonesia Branch Deputy General Manager Nithapong Senavongse and Udomsab Srirojanakul with Vice President Public Relations Department Aphiwat Punnopakorn welcomed 35 representatives from the Economic Reporters' Association Committee and other journalists in the Advanced Development of Economic Journalists' Project 2016 led by Economic Reporters' Association President Chakhorn Nukongmai on a study trip to the Bank's Indonesia branch. The first branch in Jakarta opened in 1968 (48 years), second in Surabaya and third in Medan. The visitors were briefed on the financial business and operations of the branch. This study trip was part of the training program under the Advanced Development of Economic Journalists' Project, designed to provide a better understanding for journalists on the role and importance of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Bangkok Bank and the Economic Reporters' Association have worked together on the project for 11 consecutive years and this is the fifth year that the Bank has provided Baht 1.5 million in support of the study trip.
