InterContinental Bangkok hotel recently hosted the event "Taste It All 2016 @Ratchaprasong: the Royal Delights", organized by Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA) in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Krungsri Credit Card. The project aims to make the Ratchaprasong district an even more prominent dining destination in the city. To that end, the hotel, in partnership with Thailand's Royal Project and in cooperation with other major Ratchaprasong hotels, created a large big organic farm right in the hotel's ballroom – an amazing site. More than 100 guests and media attended the invitation-only event and enjoyed special menus created by chefs of the participating hotels. All dish ingredients were from the Royal Project including pheasant, sturgeon and caviar.
Guests of honor included Chai Srivikorn, President of Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA); Padari Bunnag, Head of Royal Project Kitchen Program; Supranee Pongpat, Director of Advertising Publicity Division of TAT; and Wanwimon Kanokthanaporn, Managing Director of Krung Sri Card.
Representing InterContinental Bangkok and welcoming all guests were Pattama Yoshimura, Hotel Manager; and Simon J. Hall, Area Director of Sales & Marketing, InterContinental Bangkok
During the event, participants tasted signature foods from the district's hotels and restaurants. For his part, InterContinental Bangkok's Chef Sebastian Reischer of Fireplace Grill and Bar presented Royal Pheasant, pheasant breast with charcoal onion, potato and shallot jelly. All signature dishes are available now to 31 August 2016.
