Bangkok Bank is one of the founding members of the E5 Group, a public-private collaboration to establish 'The Leadership Program for Sustainable Education (CONNEXT ED)' under the Pracharat project, which aims to upgrade basic education and support leadership development. Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Ruchanee Nopmuang and 80 selected Bangkok Bank staff joined the Human Capital Development Workshop in preparation for the project. The purpose of the workshop was to prepare participants to be effective partners with the heads of the 207 schools in 42 provinces nationwide sponsored by Bangkok Bank. The Pracharat project will support sustainable education development for a total of 3,342 schools nationwide in the initial phase and this will be expanded to 7,424 schools in every sub-district of the country by 2017. The project aims to establish a successful and sustainable education development system in support of the government's '10 Strategic Transformation' project.
