In 2016, Ministry of Tourism and Sports by the Bureau of Prevention and Assistance tourist Fraud has held the workshop in the 4 major tourist destinations including Bangkok, Chiangmai, Khonkaen and Phuket. Those who attend the workshops are the representative from government sectors, private sectors and scholar. Moreover, Bureau of Prevention and Assistance tourist Fraud have made brochure for PR on the warning into 9 languages,
Nowadays, Thailand is a lead of tourism industry in South East Asia region, the trend is now moving forward. In 2015 the number of international tourist arrival is 29.88 million increasing 5.10 million (20.58%) In first 7 months of 2016 from January to July, the number of international tourist arrival is 19.54 million equivalents to 11.87%.
