Thailand's tourism industry continued to showcase its vitality as it impressed leading travel and tourism leaders during World Tourism Day 2016 celebrations in Bangkok. It marked the first time Thailand organised the official World Tourism Day celebration, promoting the Kingdom's tourism industry to UNWTO's 157 member countries as well as top tourism executives from around the world.
The event, which celebrates its 36th consecutive year since its launch in 1980, is an initiative of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the United Nations agency that promotes accessible, sustainable and responsible tourism. See more at: TATNewsroom
