Photo Release: Bangkok Bank donates Baht 30.32 million from use of Be1st Smart Rabbit Siriraj co-branded card to the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital

Bangkok--11 Oct--Bangkok Bank Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Thaweelap Rittapirom (Center) and Third Regional Metropolitan Area Manager Yuttapong Phoomborplub (3rd from right), representing Bangkok Bank and Be1st Smart Rabbit Siriraj cardholders – "a card for kind people" - donated Baht 30,322,593.22 as the second donation to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Professor Dr. Prasit Watanapa (3rd from left). Total donations amount to Baht 59,818,547.3. For every new card issued, Bangkok Bank donates Baht 100 and the annual fee of Baht 50 for the following year, as well as 0.2% of the value of purchases made using the cards. Be1st Smart Rabbit Siriraj cardholders also receive personal accident insurance benefits of up to Baht 200,000 and medical expenses of up to Baht 5,000 per accident with an unlimited number of accidents per year. The insurance covers accidents, murder and assaults, or whilst riding or being a passenger on a motorcycle. Cardholders do not need to pay their medical expenses in advance when being treated in any of the 200 hospitals which are members of Bangkok Insurance's network. This card is very popular among customers who would like to make donations to Siriraj to support underprivileged patients.
