As the year-end celebrations approach, Nespresso is inviting coffee aficionados to embrace past childhood memories and rediscover the holiday joy this festive season. Inspired by the rich coffee house traditions and elegance of Vienna, Nespresso is launching three Limited Edition Variations coffees, each with a comforting and indulgent aroma that is set to delight the coffee lover in your life.
To celebrate this period of festivity, Nespresso has partnered with Milan based illustrator Lorenzo Petrantoni to add his unique design flair to both the Variations packaging sleeve and the Les Collections range of accessories In addition, the Nespresso boutiques will each feature a stunning window display inspired by the famous Viennese Prater amusement park and featuring Petrantoni's detailed designs.
FESTIVE VARIATIONS
Over the centuries Vienna has established a coffee house tradition like no other city in the world. Its grand marble tables, iconic Thonet chairs and tradition of serving coffee on an elegant silver platter alongside a glass of water, have all served as inspiration for the Nespresso Variations this festive season. The Nespresso coffee experts have combined the splendour of Vienna with the taste of some of its most famous pastries to create three delicious flavoured Espressos:
Variations Sachertorte
Nespresso celebrates the popular Austrian Sachertorte, a glazed chocolate cake with a thin layer of sweet apricot jam. Best enjoyed as an Espresso, Variations Sachertorte combines the balance and roundness of the Livanto Grand Cru with soft chocolate and apricot notes.
VariationsApfelstrudel
Variations Apfelstrudel is inspired by the classic layered puff pastry dessert which contains a sweet apple filling delicately spiced with cinnamon. In this tempting Espresso, Livanto's balance and roundness is complemented with the rich aromas of pastry, baked apples and a hint of cinnamon.
Variations Linzer Torte
Nespresso pays homage to the popular Austrian Linzer Torte: a tasty red fruit tart topped with a recognisable lattice design. This Espresso is a delightful marriage of Livanto's balance and roundness with the taste of red fruits and spiced dough notes.
All three Variations coffees have an intensity level of 6 (on a scale up to 12) and priced at 360 baht for 10 capsules. Available for a limited period November 2016 – January 2017 or until stock last. The Variations are also available in special gift packs to indulge the senses; includes these three limited tempting flavours and permanent Variations range which comprises of Vanilio and Caramelito.
