Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa invites food lovers to sample the best of Thai and European cuisine in a sumptuous new five-course dinner menu.
Created by Executive Chef Mario Hoffman, the new "East Meets West" menu is available at Big Fish & Bar, the resort's beachfront restaurant that overlooks the Gulf of Thailand.
"To Start", the set menu features light Thai-style Prawn with Tamarind Sauce and luxurious Grilled Foie Gras & Mango, and "To Continue", Chef Mario's Asian Scallop Tartare and Australian Beef Tartare dishes showcase the finest and freshest ingredients.
"To Follow", Thailand's favorite spicy and sour soup, Tom Yum Goong, is complemented by a European classic, Cauliflower Soup with Summer Truffle, while the "Mains" serve up Crispy Pork in Red Curry, Sea Bass Fillet in Banana Leaf, and Grilled Australian Lamb Chops with Vegetables. These dishes are served in generous portions that can shared – exactly how Thai dishes are traditionally enjoyed.
And the most spectacular dishes are saved for the "Desserts", with an "East Meets West in Nitrogen" selection that includes Thai-style Mango Sticky Rice, Bua Loi and Crème Brulee served in a clay pot.
The "East Meets West" set dinner course is priced at THB 2,800++ for two person.
