Bangkok Bank Vice Executive Chairman Deja Tulananda (left) signed an agreement with Amata City Long Thanh Joint Stock Company Chief Executive Officer Vikrom Kromadit (right) to provide financial support of Baht 3 billion, co-funded by Bangkok Bank's Head Office (in Thai Baht) and its Ho Chi Minh City Branch (in Vietnamese Dong). The loan will be used to invest in the development of Amata's second industrial park in Vietnam, the "Amata City Long Thanh" Industrial Estate in Long Thanh, Dong Nai province. Altogether Baht 7.9 billion (around USD 225 million) will be invested in the development of the industrial park. The project is sited on 410 hectares of land near the new Highway 319, Long Thanh International Airport, the new Dong Nai airport, a deep sea port, and Amata City Bien Hoa Industrial Estate, which was the first industrial park built by Amata in Vietnam. The new industrial estate is attracting a lot of attention from foreign investors interested in Vietnam's industrial sector.
