As winner in the the Best Luxury Romantic Hotel 2016 category, Burasari Heritage was recognized for its romantic, nostalgic mood and setting, evoking an era of regal splendour and French colonial joie de vivre and celebrating a period of exotic travel, adventure and quiet contemplation.
On 29 October, 2016, the 10th Annual World Luxury Hotel Awards Gala convened in Dubai and decided the world's best luxury properties in several categories. The World Luxury Hotel Awards is a recognized global organization providing luxury hotels with recognition for their world class facilities and service excellence to their guests. Hotels are nominated by guests, travel agents and tour operators, while guests and independent panel of experts casts votes to choose the award recipients. Awards are granted based on service delivery, luxury amenities and overall presentation in several categories. Through its history, the World Luxury Hotel Awards has elevated the bar for luxury and guest services within the hospitality industry.
