What: Investors and Entrepreneurs Roundup 2016
As part of the Entrepreneur Now Series, BNOW.org, a Bangkok networking community for startups and SMEs, and a Thai registered social enterprise, is organizing a talk on "Investors and Entrepreneurs Roundup".
Once entrepreneurs have a business plan for their start up, the next step is to find an investor to get funding. What type of investors to approach? What should entrepreneurs include in their pitch? What are investors looking for? What kind of investors should entrepreneurs work with?
To answer these questions and more are Albert Shyy, Principal at GREE Ventures and John Stevens, Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Stonelotus Capital. This session will be moderated by Chalida Ekvitthayavechnukul of dealstreetasia.com.
The second session discusses an entrepreneur's perspective on their working relationship with investors. Panelists include Julien Chalte, CEO and Co-Founder of WearYouWant, Michael Cluzel, CEO and Co-Founder of Eatigo, and Santit Jirawongkraisorn, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Lalamove. Matt Mayer, the English language editor of techsauce.co will moderate this session.
There will also be 2 keynote addresses. Chris Arscott, Managing Partner of Titancapasia will speak on "Valuation Strategy: Factors to consider before taking your company to market" and Vachara Nivatphand, Co-Founder of Priceza will speak on "Why we chose to work with a strategic investor".
