TV TOKYO Communications Corporation (Headquarters: Minatoku Tokyo, President & CEO: Yasushi Saito, Hereinafter: TXCOM) and Quan Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuyaku Tokyo, CEO: Kazuhiro Mizuno, hereinafter: Quan) through collaboration of Character Databank Ltd. (Headquarters: Minatoku Tokyo, Representative: Kazuo Rikukawa) commenced a business matching service "CHARACTER SHOWCASE" for East/Southeast Asia. Available languages are English, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Thai and Japanese. This service was launched for the purpose of helping overseas companies get access to the Japanese Intellectual Property (IP). The overseas companies can apply through this service for the license agreement for Japanese registered IP. If the IP they want to use has not been registered yet, they can also ask to use it under license.

"Character Showcase" aims to spread Japanese popular characters all over the world through commercial products and advertising. This service can connect Japanese IP licensors (copyright owners) and overseas companies who want to use their license (licensees).
This project is subsidized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry considered as "a project for the development of new business with emergent countries (test marketing support project)" in 2016.
