A traditional festive meal, Italian-style, is conjured up by chef Roberto Panariello at Loop this Christmas Eve. This 5-course set menu offers a choice of Starter - either fennel and dill-marinated carpaccio of salmon or grilled white asparagus with Stracchino cheese, followed by a Tuscan mussel and clam or rich vegetable soup. A refreshing Lemon Basil and White Wine Sorbet to cleanse the palette is served before the main dish arrives where a difficult choice of three Italian dishes is available; gnocchi with shrimps, broccoli and Italian bacon; roasted turkey breast with cranberry and red wine risotto; grilled venison fillet with roasted butternut squash and ratatouille in a red wine gravy. Finally, a dessert of fresh strawberries marinated in a 25 year-aged balsamic with vanilla mascarpone rounds off a spectacular meal, all for only THB 1100 (Children under 12 THB 550)
