Haier unveils new innovation – the Evaporator Self Cleaning Function, featured in its ULTIMATE PLUS COOL VNQ SERIES air conditioners, to be launched together with the DAWN COOL VDA SERIES and CHILL COOL CTR SERIES, which will be packed with the latest technologies. More market share is expected by the company with a target increase of revenue by 10% to 2,700 million baht by the end of 2017.
Mr. Yang Xiaolin, President of Haier Thailand revealed that Haier enjoyed a satisfactory performance in 2016 with a total revenue of 2,480 million baht. Air conditioners come as the biggest earner, followed by refrigerators, freezers, washing machines and television sets respectively. Haier has developed its products and brand loyalty in line with its ranking as the Number One Brand of Major Appliances in the World for 8 consecutive years according to Euromonitor International with a 9.8% market share of the world's retail business volume.
"This year, Haier has invested over 100 million baht to develop its stores and marketing activities. More products for the upper market will be launched. This summer, apart from economy models, hi-end products are also available, including the Ultimate Plus Cool VNQ SERIES air conditioner, which is available in 4 sizes - 10,000 BTU, 13,000 BTU, 18,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU. The Evaporator Self Cleaning Function is unique and only available from Haier. It decreases the temperature at the evaporators to make them frosted so that the dust will be released in just 20 minutes. The Silver Nano Ion system prevents bacteria cross-infection by 99% to keep the room air clean and healthy. Moreover, Haier air conditioners with Inverter technology helps save more energy by 36% compared to air conditioners from other brands.
