To celebrate the spring season the talented pastry chefs at La Pâtisserie at The Okura Prestige Bangkok are offering a selection of scrumptious Japanese inspired confections flavoured with Sakura cherry blossom and the sweet nutty essence of Goma black sesame. Creamy Japanese cheesecakes are also on the menu and make the perfect dessert to round off a spring family gathering.
Throughout April you can feast on the sweet sensations of macarons, perfect pralines, delicious diafuku stuffed Japanese rice cakes, light and airy cream-filled choux buns, crispy shortcake, and tangy yuzu jam rolls, all enhanced with the delicate flavour of Sakura cherry blossom. Then in May it is the turn of Goma black sesame to star in a pastry selection that includes jam rolls, sesame cakes, sesame choux buns, sesame macarons, and delightful sesame croissants. The parade of pastry favourites doesn't end there either. Cake lovers will be spoilt for choice throughout the month of June, during which La Pâtisserie will feature a selection of deliciously rich and zesty Japanese cheesecakes.
