KTC aims to produce high quality youth to fit into the society through the 14th

Bangkok--17 Apr--Krungthai Card Learn & Earn project according to the idea of "Living in a sufficient lifestyle, but never stop learning" It comes to the 14th year of the Learn & Earn program, which has been organized by KTC in order to train youth to fit into the society under the idea of "Living in a sufficient lifestyle, but never stop learning," a life lesson learned from the King Rama IX. The idea is suitable for all ages and it is something that encourages the new generation of youth to keep working hard to earn for a living and to collect money for a sustainable life. Ms. Podchaneeporn Chamnanpukdee, Vice President – Human Resources "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, revealed that "with an aim to develop the new generation of youth, KTC has organized the Learn & Earn program for 14 consecutive years in order to produce quality manpower to the society, under the idea of "Living in a sufficient lifestyle, but never stop learning". The main idea is to encourage students participating in this project to keep learning by focusing on the teaching of the King Rama IX as a way to live their lives. Moreover, this program is to turn all participating students to graduates that best fit to the positions available in this digital era. The program hopes to give an opportunity to learn tips and tricks to achieve success by inviting several inspiring speakers to share their experience. Also, there is an open stage for students to exchange their opinions in order for them to apply the knowledge they have gained from the program in real situations. The program comprises of 5 activities in order to be in line with the idea "Living in a sufficient lifestyle, but never stop learning": 1) Learn before work. Be ready for a work interview. Get trained by professional hiring managers 2) Learn how to use digital media for work 3) Learn from a famous financial analyst in order to develop a plan for future money savings 4) Learn ways of organic agriculture and modern yet sufficient lifestyle 5) Learn how to create art works for the King Rama IX and methods to distribute the works to the society. "We hope that this year program will offer opportunities for the students participating in this program to learn outside their classrooms from something that they have never experienced before. Also, we are sure that what they learned will inspire them and bring them to achieve sustainable success. They will grow up to be crucial persons for their families and the country in the future," Ms.Podchaneeporn said. Ms. Mayrin Mekwattana, a senior from the Faculty of Psychology, Chulalongkorn University,has been doing an internship under this program with the Human Resources Department. "Apart from in-class studies, I have developed my skills in various aspects, such as working with others, coordinating techniques for effective outcomes, interview arrangements, administrative works, etc. Moreover, I have also learned how to deal and resolve facing problems that I found during my time at KTC." "KTC has taught us many things. It's not just a working skill, but we also learned to effectively manage our working and studying schedules. From here, we've learned how to live with other people and how to approach someone to do something. The most important thing is, we've created relationships among us, both with our friends who participate in this program and also with seniors who work here. We're working and living like a family. The atmosphere is so joyful, which makes me want to come to work every day. This place is like my second home." Ms. Mayrin said. During the press conference, Mr.Chaiyapon Chawanwanitchai, Trainer Team Lead and Managing Director of Big Brain Academy, who has been successful in his business life since young age, was invited to be the key speaker. As a famous digital marketer and M.I.B Marketing In Black facebook page founder, he has shared his experience and inspiring stories and given away his strategies for success with the topic of "9 tips to achieve a successful life in the time that technologies are a must for every business". Notes to Editors The "Learn & Earn" program is initiated and operated by "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited for already 14 consecutive years. This project contributes to offering opportunities to any university students in Thailand to apply for an hourly-paid internship with KTC during their school break. The program was first launched with an aim to encourage students to learn and potentially develop themselves. Currently, there are 110 students participating in this year program. KTC has hired 300 students who used to join before and there were 25,000 students applying to be part of the program.
