HSBC Thailand, led by Mr. Guy Dickinson (6th from right - 2nd row), Head of Global Markets and Treasurer, and Mrs. Varanandha Sutthapreeda (5th from left - 2nd row), Head of Communications, recently welcomed 24 teams of undergraduates that have been selected to proceed to the Qualifying round of the HSBC Thailand Business Case Competition 2017. This year's competition is well received with 161 teams applying from 10 colleges and universities nationwide.
For the 4th consecutive year, the HSBC Thailand Business Case Competition is aimed to unleash the potential of undergraduate students in Thailand and sharpen their skills in business analysis and presentation through hands-on experience in solving a real-life business case. All the 24 teams that passed the preliminary round will be invited to attend a training workshop sponsored by HSBC, prior to the next round of competition. The Final round is scheduled on Saturday 29 April 2017 at Sri Burapha Auditorium, Thammasat University, Tha Phrachan. The finalist teams will compete for cash prizes of over THB 200,000, and the top winner team will represent Thailand to attend the "HSBC/HKU Asia Pacific Business Case Competition 2017"in Hong Kong during 6-9 June 2017.
