CapitaLand's wholly-owned serviced residence business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott) continue its Songkran charity fundraising campaign for the second year. This campaign is one of the organisation's CSR initiatives to work the upliftment of students at Doi Wiangpha Pittaya School, a remote hill-tribe school located within the Golden Triangle in Chiang Rai province.
This coming water-play-fun Songkran Festival, a thousand of Ascott's limited edition reusable waterproof bags will be sold across its properties in Thailand. The donation from this campaign, together with other fundraising campaigns during the year will go towards helping more than 500 underprivileged students from kindergarten up to 9th grade.
Ascott International Management (Thailand) Limited in partnership with iCare Thailand Foundation (iCare) have been supporting Doi Wiangpha Pittaya School since 2014 in order to create a sustainable development at the school of at least 5 consecutive years.
