Bangkok--27 Apr--Novotel Bangkok on Siamsquare
Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square led by Resident Manager, Jon Cannon, held their "Inside Out Green" activity on the Earth day. The hotel team went around the local community of Siam Square to raise awareness regarding environmental concerns and give away healthy "Spirulina cupcakes", the Spirulina is grown on the hotel's rooftop. A 'plant your own cactus' booth was also set up in the hotel to allow guests to garden with recycle materials like empty toilet rolls. We managed to raise over 10,000 baht for the Pure Project which aims to help reforest Thailand. This action was a part of project Planet 21, Accor Hotel's environmental sustainability initiative.
