YouTube is delighted to announce the return of YouTube FanFest to Bangkok on May 20 at Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon. Now in its second year in town, YouTube FanFest, presented by AIS ZEED SIM in association with Maybelline New York, is an exclusive live show showcasing the biggest YouTube stars from Thailand and around the world, and a Festival connecting them with fans #IRL.
This year's stellar line up features a mix of talented international creators: Kurt Hugo Schneider, Tanner Patrick , Tyler Ward, 1 Million Dance, Matt Steffanina , and local sensations BILLbilly01, Bie The Ska, Doubletap, Atom Chanakarn, Jannine Weigel, UrboyTJ, and Zommarie. These creators are set to take the stage at Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon, for a night filled with music, dance, and lots of fun.
As part of this year's FanFest, fans will also get to explore the YouTube Festive area, which will help fans get up close and personal with their internet heros, and also let them try their own hand at shooting and uploading YouTube videos in themed booths and studios.
The Thai YouTube community is one of the world's most vibrant and fastest-growing: in the past year alone, YouTube's watchtime on mobile grew by 90%, while hours of uploaded content grew by nearly 170%, making Thailand one of the top 10 countries in the world in terms of watch time. Today, over 600+ channels in Thailand have been awarded a Silver Play Button (100k+ subscribers), and 51 channels have been awarded a Gold Play Button (1 million+ subscribers), including many creators who bagged the award within the past year — watch out for them at FanFest and the Creator Fair!
