SCB introduces new SCB Connect on LINE application offering convenient and secure financial services for digital lifestyles

Bangkok--23 May--Siam Commercial Bank Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), a leader in digital banking, and LINE Company (Thailand) Limited have launched "SCB Connect," a financial service channel developed as a LINE official account on the LINE platform. Offering a closer connection between SCB and its customers, in its initial phase SCB Connect will be available for SCB credit cardholders on both iOS and Android smartphones. With "SCB Connect," access to daily personal financial information will be more convenient and secure. Users can monitor credit card transactions with alerts for every purchase, check their credit card information, find personalized promotions and offers, or search for nearby SCB branches or ATMs. In the next phase, services will be extended to other SCB products, and will feature a chatbot providing information in real time. SCB places importance on continuous customer service development, particularly through digital channels. The use of smartphones is significantly increasing in terms of the number of users and the time spent on devices, as well as their increasing role in users' daily lives. Over 94% of Internet users on smartphones in Thailand use LINE as their main communication channel. In response to current customer behaviors, needs, and familiarity with LINE, SCB and LINE Company (Thailand) Limited have come up with "SCB Connect," a banking service channel in consumers' hands readily available for SCB credit cardholders and interested users in its roll-out phase. Reminder:Users will receive notifications with each credit card transaction and a reminder of payment due dates.Reply: Users will receive instant responses to their credit card inquiries, such as available credit line, expenditure amounts, itemized transactions, and nearby SCB branches or ATMs. Rewards: Promotions and offers personalized to each customer's credit card to better match their preferences.
