Mr. Rathian Srimongkol, President & Chief Executive Officer, "KTC"or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, revealed, "KTC is about to issue a new 5-year debenture which will mature in 2022. This issue will be offered to general, non-institutional and non-cooperative investors, as an alternative investment, during May 29th - 31st, 2017. The interest rate for Year 1 through Year 3 is fixed at 3% per year. The interest rate for Year 4 is fixed at 3.25% per year and the interest rate for Year 5 is fixed at 3.5% per year. The average interest rate is 3.1423% per year. Interest will be paid quarterly throughout the term of the debenture. The total amount of debenture offered will not exceed 2,500 Million Baht. Subscription amount is subject to a minimum amount of 100,000 Baht and multiples thereof. This is a registered, unsubordinated, unsecured debenture with a holder's representative. Repayment of the principal amount is completed only once upon maturity."
This debenture was given the A+/Stable credit rating by TRIS Rating. As of March 30th, 2017, KTC's interim profits from 2013 to 2016 were 1,283 Million Baht, 1,755 Million Baht, 2,073 Million Baht and 2,495 Million Baht, respectively.
