EPG reveals its 17/18 plan with target revenue growth of more than 10% from value-added innovation and new product development as well as its focus on market expansion covering worldwide customers at all levels. AEROFLEX presents "AERO-ROOF, an insulation installed under the roof of the buildings to prevent heat from sunlight; AEROKLAS to increase production capacity of Canopy and Sidestep serving the growth; EPP to launch new product of food liner to the market. Meanwhile, its 16/17 revenue was at THB 9,280 million increased by 6% with the net profit of THB 1,383 million.
Assoc.Prof.Dr Chalieo Vitoorapakorn Deputy CEO of The Eastern Polymer Group (EPG), the world leading manufacturer and distributor of polymer and plastic products has disclosed the Company's operation plan of 2017/2018 (April 2017 – March 2018) that EPG still places an emphasis on innovation and research and development to increase efficiency of the 3 core businesses i.e. Thermo Insulation business under AEROFLEX brand, The automotive parts and accessories business under AEROKLAS brand, and Plastic and packaging business under EPP brand, targeting on the expansion of its subsidiaries' new and existing products in order to handle all levels of worldwide customers' demands.
EPG has targeted its revenue growth of no less than 10% in 2017/2018 due to its local and international market expansion. The marketing of the thermo Insulation business still focuses on countries in Asia, especially in Vietnam, Japan, and China. As for the USA, the Company has prepared to invest in Hi-Speed machine worth THB 100 million.
In addition, the Company also presents the new product, "AERO-ROOF", the thermal insulation sheet installed under the roof of the buildings for real estate project customers such as industrial factories, department stores, hospitals, warehouses, and other customers who see the importance of residential safety and cost efficiency. In terms of the research and development, the Company is under the development of the new product of Fire Stop Insulation of which will expand its business opportunity to fire stop insulation for residential and industrial factories, targeting local and international customers.
The automotive parts and accessories business under AEROKLAS brand will carry on growth momentum via to its products - Canopy and Side Step - of which the Company has gradually increased the production capacity to serve the future growth and their markets have continuously expanded in Asia, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe. The Company also consults with automotive companies who wish to have AEROKLAS to take part in premium auto parts and styling accessories development. In addition to that TJM will establish TJM Corporate Store in Western Australia and open its branches in Thailand.
EPP has recently launched new products "Food Liner" the contaminated free bowl, the purpose of this product is to be place on top of the dish/bowl prior eating to help reduce the food exposure to unclean dish/bowl. After the usage product can be disposed right away without washing the dish/bowl. The nature of the product is designed to enhance sanitary for the group of street food and those who are inconvenience of washing dishes. These products are eco-friendly and able to enhance the Thai people consumption behavior. Moreover, EPP has speed up the market of "eici", the general plastic packaging. Nowadays, EPP has the production capacity of 32,000 tons/ year with the efficiency to serve both local and international orders.
Assoc.Prof.Dr Chalieo added the earnings of 2016/2017 that the total revenue reached THB 9,280 million, growing from the revenue of THB 8,765 million in the previous year by THB 5 million or by 5.9%. It was the highest revenue from the Company's operation. On the other hand, the net profit of THB 1,383 million was slightly decreased by 2.2% from THB 1,414 million in last year. However, the Company could maintain its gross profit margin as high as 32% as targeted", said Assoc.Prof.Dr Chalieo.
