A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 9 June 2017 between the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited (PGCB) in which AIT will provide high-quality customized professional development courses for officers of PGCB, focusing on capacity building of professionals in areas related to the power sector.
The agreement signed by PGCB's Managing Director, Mr. Masum Al-Beruni, and AIT President, Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, envisages an annual intake of 40-60 professionals from PGCB for various capacity building and training programs offered by AIT Extension.
