Every year 5th of June is set as World Environment Day by United Nation to act together for the protection of Environment. Accor Hotels and Planet 21 work hand in hand with local communities for a positive impact and engage with people to help and protect our environment, under the theme "connecting people to nature"
This year Mercure Bangkok Makkasan team invited local school children to celebrate and join the activity of making urban garden to highlight the importance of sustainability and positive hospitality under the name of Accorhotels Planet 21.
Children from Good Shepherd Sisters Bangkok joined the activity of planting local vegetables and harvested organic basil to decorate their own Pizza. One small hand from everyone can change making differences, starting from our hands.
