ข่าวท่องเที่ยว Tuesday June 27, 2017 16:07 —PRESS RELEASE LOCAL

Bangkok--27 Jun--TAT The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) International Public Relations Division would like to announce that submissions for our TAT Newsroom Blogger Thailand 2017 contest have now closed. We'd like to express sincere thanks to all bloggers who took part and everyone who registered and has voted in the campaign which opened on 15 May with final submissions accepted on 15 June. This year, the TAT Newsroom Blogger Thailand 2017 competition received and reviewed 70 entries, of which the TAT Newsroom team approved and uploaded 34 Thailand travel articles and 12 Thailand travel videos to the contest's website. The TAT Newsroom team will once again review all the entries to ensure that entrants have met with all the required rules and terms and conditions. Only when it is established that entries are in line with the campaign's criteria will they be presented to the judging panel for their final selection. Entrants still have until 20 June to share their entries with followers so that the public can vote for their favourites. So far, many posted entries have gained a reasonable number of 'likes'. However, the TAT Newsroom Team has noticed some strange voting patterns on some entries. This is being taken very seriously and we're currently investigating the matter to ensure fairness to all entrants. The six winners will be announced on 23 June. The prize, an exclusive six-day/five-night trip to Bangkok, Buriram, and Surin, will take place on 20-25 July, inclusive of arrival and departure days. Winners outside Thailand will also receive one port-to-port return air ticket (on Thai Airways International or similar), which will be booked for the dates of the winning trip only. Good luck!
