The long-awaited "SAC ASEAN Film Festival 2017" by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Centre (Public Organisation) this year is held under the "A Look Through Our Windows From Then, To Now And Hereafter" comcept, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Asean Community. The seven films from seven neighbouring countries – Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia – have been selected to show the diversity of the Asean Community in terms of culture and society. A seminar will also be held. The festival starts on August 19 and runs through August 23 at the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Centre in Taling Chan, Bangkok. The entrance is free of charge.
