Dasada Gallery, Khao Yai, Prachin Buri is preparing for a floral festival of yellow phalaenopsis, or the queen of orchids, to commemorate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Rama IX for the entire the month of October. At the event, over 2,000 rare yellow phalaenopsis orchids from 10 species will be displayed.
Another highlight of the event is a 2.5x2 meter stuccowork decorated with dried amaranths that form the image of King Bhumibol Adulyadej Rama IX. This is the first piece of art that Dasada will ever create with its own special techniques. Admission ticket prices are 100 baht and 50 baht for adults and children respectively. All income after deducting expenses will be donated to the Chaipattana Foundation.
For those who are interested in staying at Dasada Flower Essence Resort Khao Yai in this October, they will be able to participate in rice planting activity and will be invited to harvest the rice once the harvesting season arrives. Dasada and guests will jointly donate the rice to disadvantaged children. Dasada offers guests a special way of relaxation among nature. Guests can even pick natural produce growing within the resort area as ingredients for home-cooked meals with help from Dasada's chef who will demonstrate how make delicious dishes.
