Photo Release: THAI Joins Hands with Central Lab Thai to Boost Inflight Meal Safety Standards for 60 Customer Airlines

Bangkok--29 Sep--Thai Airways International Flight Lieutenant Montree Jumrieng (third from left), Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Sustainable Development, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Surachai Kampalanonwat (fifth from left), Managing Director of Central Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (CLT or Central Lab Thai), for inflight meals and agricultural product testing as well as quality and safety inspection. Also present at the signing ceremony were Mrs. Salinee Wangtal (fourth from left), CLT Member of the Board of Directors, and Mrs.Varangkana Luerojvong (second from left), THAI Managing Director of Catering. THAI has had a long-standing concern for public health, which made recent advancements through cooperation with Central Lab Thai to exchange laboratory expertise and knowledge on food safety standards for a period of two years beginning in January 2018. THAI produces 60,000 – 80,000 high quality, chemical-free inflight meals per day for 60 customer airlines at international standards that have been certified by the International Air Transport Association, received ISO 9001 : 2015 certification, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
