Symphony Communication, in collaboration with leading telecomnunication providers of Malaysia (Telekom Malaysia Berhad) and Cambodia (TelcoTech), launches the 1,300-km-length MCT Submarine Cable System in Thailand. With total investment of more than THB2 billion in budget, the move aims at establishing Thailand as ASEAN's Telecommunication Hub and Gateway to the world so as to spur communications expansions, encourage trade and investment growth, as well as facilitate economic development for Thailand and ASEAN.
Mr. Teerarat Pantarasutra, President of Symphony Communication Public Company Limited, the provider of high-speed domestic and international communication network, says that his company is honored to have been internationally entrusted with the mission of developing this project. Symphony Communication is the International Network Provider in Thailand and the first private company who invested in submarine cable system in the country.
The MCT Submarine Cable System is the remarkable collaboration with Malaysia - Telekom Malaysia Berhad (M) and Cambodia - TelcoTech. Both partners are also international telecommunication providers. Their high-level executives are here in Thailand for the official launch of MCT Submarine Cable System to celebrate our success together with us.
Mr. Teerarat says "the MCT Submarine Cable System can transmit data with total capacity up to 30 Tpbs. and support 100G Ethernet Technology, this secure and stable system promises to increase telecommunication efficiency not only in 3 countries but also efficiently connects with all over the world.

Symphony Communication has invested in two parts of the MCT Submarine Cable System. The first part is the joint investment with the Malaysian and Cambodian partners in developing the submarine cable infrastructure. The second part is MOALEE Cable Landing Station where is located in Rayong.
The MCT Submarine Cable System success will definitely set Thailand as the Telecommunication Hub of ASEAN due to the its efficiency, more reliable and stable route. And this is bound to boost foreign investors' confidence in Thailand and contribute to the Thai economy too. The MCT Submarine Cable System, moreover, responds perfectly to the Thai government's Digital Economy Policy, Thailand 4.0 vision, and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) project due to Symphony Communication's cable landing station located in Rayong, a part of the EEC.
On regional communications, the MCT Submarine Cable System will promote further connectivity at regional and international levels, encouraging economic growth.
