Canon has collaborated with World Camera Group in opening a new "Canon Image Square by World Camera" on the fifth floor of World Camera Center 3 Pinklao (also known as the Lens Building). This new Canon Image Square is intended to be a hub for Canon's latest photographic and imaging products as well as a learning centre on photography and digital camera technologies for the public.
Warin Tantipongpanich, vice president of the product groups at Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said that in addition to selling Canon's photography-related products, the Canon Image Square by World Camera offers a generous display of the latest Canon digital cameras and lenses for the public to try and experience. Students and the public can also come to learn more about photographic technologies here, which will help promote brand familiarity and a closer relationship between Canon and the consumers.
There are now four branches of Canon Image Square by World Camera and they are the fifth to eighth Canon Image Square in Thailand, located at CentralPlaza Chonburi, CentralPlaza Rama II, IT Mall Fortune Town and the Pinklao area, respectively. The newly opened Pinklao branch has a floor space of 70 square metres, divided into six parts:

• Bag & Accessories
The opening event also included an introduction of new Canon cameras such as the EOS 6D Mark II, EOS 200D and EOS M100.
Throughout November and December 2017, photography workshops and talks with professionals will be held at different branches of the Canon Image Square by World Camera as follows:
• Duangporn Baiplutong, a fashion photographer for magazines published by Amarin Printing, will provide tips for shooting packshots on Saturday 11 November 2017 at the Pinklao branch and on Friday 17 November 2017 at the Fortune Town branch.
• Sorayut Pumpakdee, a photographer for Secret magazine, will reveal his techniques for fashion portrait photography on Saturday 18 November 2017 at the Pinklao branch and tips for portrait photography on Saturday 16 December 2017 at the Chonburi branch
• Pakinai Yimcharoen, a TV show producer and renowned photographer, will advise on movie and live broadcast shooting on Saturday 25 November 2017 at the Pinklao branch
• Piyachat Kaelong, Canon expert in tourism photography, will share his experiences and macro shooting techniques on Friday 15 December 2017 at the CentralPlaza Rama II branch
Canon Marketing (Thailand) opened the first Canon Image Square in 2015. At present, there are 11 branches in seven provinces of Thailand, namely Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Udon Thani and Chonburi, and another branch in Laos. The Canon Image Square come in three types: shop-in-mall, shop-in-shop and standalone. The company expects the number of branches to increase to 13 by the end of this year
