Bangkok--22 Nov--Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok
Ms. Caroline Cheah, General Manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, and Mrs. Saisom Wongsasuluk, President of the Caring Hearts for AIDS Foundation, jointly held a press conference on the upcoming "Bonding with Love", special charity afternoon tea with a fashion show by celebrity father-son-daughter, at the hotel's Corundum Room recently.
To honour Father of the Nation, the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the "Bonding with Love" afternoon tea with a fashion show, jointly organised by Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok and the Caring Hearts for AIDS Foundation, will take place in the hotel's ballroom on Friday 8 December 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. Tickets are priced at 2,000 baht and 1,500 baht. Proceeds will benefit Chalermprakiet 48 Pansa School under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Inspired by the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej's hobbies and talents, Executive Pastry Chef Claus Olsen has exquisitely created a special mixture of savoury items which include a range of sandwiches, pies and other interesting choices for this special occasion. Some of the delectable dishes are the Royal Project Treasure Chest, a dessert representing the world-famous royal project in Chiang Mai Province. Dark edible soil, which is part of the dessert, refers to the richness and fertility that yield healthy crops grown in the area. The Golden Chocolate Sphere is inspired by old flavours and tradition, and time spent in Thailand. Suvarnabhumi, which means "The Golden Land", inspired Chef Claus to re-create the golden freshness of raspberry and balsamic, while the dome is inspired by hills and mountains, the crunchiness reflects the textures in Thai cuisine.
Highlights will be a father-son-daughter fashion show by nine celebrities, including Khemanit "Pancake" Jamikorn and father; Somchai "Tao" Khemklad and daughters; Supakorn "Tok" Kitsuwan and daughter; Pharanyu "Tack" Rojanawuthitham and father; Nattee "Bob" Kosolpisit with daughter and sons; Techatorn "Putter" Jamikorn and daughter. A special performance by honorary professional singers, such as, Rang Rockestra and Winai Panturak, will definitely impress guests who attend the charity afternoon tea. In addition to the celebrity fashion show, there will be fashion shows by honorary guests, beauty queens and models, including Khata Chinabunchorn, Tim Boda, Vaiyavit Leenanuchai, Russamee Tongsiripaisri. Beauty Gems, Mark Thawin, BSC Cosmetology, Lorra by Monsiour, Myriad Grand Monde and Puvasa are proud to be sponsors of a fashion show for this charity afternoon tea.
