Bangkok--24 Nov--MERCURE BANGKOK MAKKASAN
Mercure Bangkok Makkasan joins with Grand Mercure Bangkok Fortune and Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam organized CSR activity Soap for Hope at good shepherd sisters by donating used soap to foundation. Soap for Hope is one of the Planet 21 project by AccorHotels to work with employees, customers and local communities to build awareness of sustainability. By cooperation of 3 hotels Mercure Bangkok Makkasan, Grand Mercure Bangkok Fortune and Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam, we collected used soap from guest rooms and get total of 118 kg. to donate to non-profit organization. These used soap will be processed to make new recycled soaps and sell by good shepherd sisters. The money goes to foundation to support their service projects with women, children and families to empower, enhance dignity, support self-sufficiency, and build esteem in those who have been excluded from the benefits of society.
