Minor Hotels is pleased to announce the promotion of Manish Jha to Cluster General Manager, Anantara Hua Hin Resort and AVANI Hua Hin Resort & Villas. Expanding on his previous role as General Manager of the Anantara Hua Hin Resort, Manish will now expand his proven leadership role by overseeing the AVANI Hua Hin Resort & Villas, one of the newest properties launched by Minor Hotels.
Under Manish's skillful management, the Anantara Hua Hin Resort received a number of accolades. This year alone, the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards 2017 ranked Anantara Hua Hin Resort Number 1 Top Resort in Asia as well as Number 9 among the Best Resorts in the World.
Manish joined Minor Hotels in as part of the pre-opening team for Anantara Resort Maldives and Naladhu Resorts Maldives. After both resorts were successfully opened, he went on to be Resorts Manager for both Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa and Anantara Veli Resort & Spa in the Maldives. Then 2010 saw Manish promoted to his first General Manager role at Anantara Bophut Resort & Spa Koh Samui, where he directed the extensive refurbishment of the resort. After this, AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa called on Manish for its rebranding and reopening.
A native of India, Manish started his hospitality career in India. His expertise gained recognition as he moved on to Food & Beverage Manager for the re-opening of One & Only, Kanuhura, Maldives. Then he moved on to join Minor Hotels.
