This award reflects the company's commitment to ensuring that the Thai people, especially the underprivileged and victims of natural disasters, have broader access to quality medicines and healthcare under the company's "Access to Medicine" initiative through the "GSK Medicine Bank" project. The Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Recognition awards were initiated by the American Chamber of Commerce to honor companies that implement excellent corporate social responsibility programs that lead to social benefits and development.
GlaxoSmithKline (Thailand) Ltd., or GSK, led by Mr. Viriya Chongphaisal, (fourth from left), General Manager and Dr.Jamikorn Bhekasuta(second from left), Country Medical Director, recently received AMCHAM's 2017 Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Recognition – Gold level for the eighth consecutive year from the American Chamber of Commerce. The CSR Excellence Recognition was presented by His Excellency Mr. Glyn T. Davies (fourth from right), United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand.
