Stiebel Eltron, Thailand's leading manufacturer of water heaters, water filters and hand-dryers, is aiming to double turnover in the next five years following an expansion of its production facilities in Ayutthaya.
The company, which was formed in 1924 in Germany, now operates two factories in Ayutthaya which has helped increase business streams in the Thai market and in other South East Asian markets.
Despite the static water heater market, Stiebel Eltron Asia successfully increased sales targets for 2017 and expects to reach its target of 10 per cent growth this year. In 2016, the company reported revenues of more than 1.1 billion Baht with over 350,000 water heater units sold.
Stiebel Eltron Asia continues to focus on strengthening sales channels in Bangkok and in other regions and is more focused on online platforms to reach more customers as the market shifts to eCommerce. The company is currently broadening its online sales channels to cover all major online platforms.
The award-winning company continues to develop new product lines to meet the needs of Thai consumers. Stiebel Eltron recently unveiled its Stiebel Boost, its new powerful water pump. The sleek water pump is crafted with the German engineering standards and award-winning design. The Stiebel Boost's contemporary design will elevate and enhance any household exterior design. Moreover, the water pump is designed to provide powerful performance without the disturbing noise.
The Stiebel Boost comes in four different models including 3A-CS (300 watts), 4A-CS (450 watts), 6A-CS (600 watts) and 7A-CS (750 watts). Each model retails for THB7,990, THB8,990, THB10,990 and THB12, 990 respectively.

Last year, Stiebel Eltron brought German engineering innovation to Thailand with a new system that allows new housing to utilize renewable energy. The system is incorporated into the new building design and Stiebel Eltron heat pumps and air ventilations are a key factor in the energy saving design.
"Stiebel Eltron is committed to achieving an extensive range of products for all needs and budgets. We will continue to bring out more models and product lines to suit every household. We target to double our Stiebel Eltron Asia turnover within the next five years. It is very ambitious goal but we believe that we can reach it with our extensive product range and future renewable energy products," Mr Hoehn added.
Other 2017 launches
Among Stiebel Eltron's new product line-up is the WL series water heater, which features innovative LCD touchscreen, memory function and SPA setting. The WL series is Stiebel Eltron's first ever model to feature the revolutionary touchscreen which took three years to conceptualize, test and certify and is guaranteed to provide the best shower experience. The WL 35 EC (3,500 watts) unit retails at THB6,990, while the WL 45 EC (4,500 watts) retails at THB7,490.
The latest product addition this year launches is the new 20 inch pre-filter water system, Stiebel House. The water filter comes in two types which are Pleated Sediment (THB3,990) and Activated Carbon Block (THB4,590). The tiny but mighty water filter provides an effective whole house solution for water supplies and improved tap water. The models can be either installed at Point of Entry or Point of Use.
