This winter, Local Alike invites you to an extraordinary community experience with a trip to Takiantia Community, Chonburi Province, for "A Day as a Local Farmer" from 18-20 December 2017.
This one-day trip will let you appreciate the uniqueness of Takiantia community villagers who will introduce you to the world of coconut. Mixed with local wisdom and locally available resources, the ordinary coconut is transformed into something that brings value and smiles to the whole community. You'll learn how to grow coconuts, cook awesome dishes from coconut shell, go cycling and breathe in some fresh air, retreat to the coconut plantation and converse with coconut gurus and enjoy many other activities with the community members.
