Beger co., ltd continues its corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign "Beger Be Happy, Beger the Colors of Happiness" 4th year, donating 5 million-baht worth of Beger paints as New Year gifts to foundations and schools across Bangkok, aiming to improve landscape and highlight its leadership in eco-wellness innovation paints. The campaign is held at the open space of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), Bangkok.
Dr.Worawat Chaiyosburana, Vice President of Beger Co., Ltd., revealed that "Beger, we never stop developing our products to meet customer satisfaction. Today, we keep improving our products innovation under the concept "Eco-Wellness Innovation" aimed at better living standard of people as well as eco-friendly business that gives priority to users' safety and good health first. This vision contributes to the differentiation of all Beger's products, especially in the main product portfolio i.e. Decorative Paints, Wood Coating, Construction Chemicals, Heavy Duty Coating and Special Paints (e.g. Art Effects and Gold Paints). Our production has an advanced control system, with a capacity of over 40-50 million liters per year. However, we do not only focus on manufacturing but also ensuring healthy environment and safety in every production process. For example, water treatment system and other processes in production process must lines must be safe to communities and environment. Also, the warehouses and logistics must be ensured of its efficiency in distributing products right first time. With all of these elements, Beger is hence capable of being the leader of eco-wellness paints that truly cares both the planet and users for sustainable living.
The value of the overall paint market in 2017 is approximately 21 billion baht, seeing a 5% increase from last year. It is also anticipated that in 2018, the paint market will remain a stable 5% growth after recovering from the recession. Therefore, the company has allocated 400 million baht for marketing budget in order to increase brand awareness through advertisement, PR and several medias, targeting a revenue of 4.6 billion baht or 5% growth rate.
Amornrat Chaiyosburana, Assistant Vice-President of Beger Co., Ltd., also added that "To participate in living standard development and constant social contributions, our company has organized CSR campaign called "Beger Be Happy, Beger the Color of Happiness" 4th year in 2017 with an objective to encourage people to show their kindness and helpful by volunteering for social activities and creating smiles across Thai society. The first year of the campaign, Beger donated Beger Cool paints for repair and maintenance to 54 educational institutions across Thailand. We recognized well the happiness return from giving since our first activity, as thus, we had continued the campaign to the second year where we shared our knowledge about painting and helped renovate Phra-da-bot school as well.
Then, in the third year, more than 1,000 Beger employees participated in planting mangrove forest. This year Beger, celebrating its 57th anniversary by keeps creating happiness through the campaign "Beger Be Happy, Beger the Color of Happiness" by giving beger products over 5 million baht to foundations and schools across Bangkok to improve their landscape for better living.
