AirAsia held a warm ceremony to mark the inaugural flight of its Phuket-Khon Kaen route at the arrival terminal of Khon Kaen Airport today (22 December 2017) once again enhancing its network of destinations and stimulating cross-regional travel with a flight available four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday).
Ms. Kattaleeya Borrirak, Thai AirAsia Station Manager at Khon Kaen Airport, remarked that today's inaugural flight of the Phuket-Khon Kaen route came at an opportune time as the connection has already been well received and is likely to only grow in demand, especially with the New Year's holiday just around the corner. She stated AirAsia is happy to be able to transport travelers during the holiday safely and with great value.
The Phuket-Khon Kaen flight operates 4 times a week, departing from Phuket at the convenient time of 11.10 hrs and arriving shortly after in Khon Kaen at 12.50 hrs with return flights departing from Khon Kaen at 08.45 hrs and arriving in Phuket at 10.40 hrs.
