The TIJ International Forum on the Rule of Law and Sustainable Development
"Converging Perspectives from Global to Regional on the Rule of Law"
The Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) understands the importance of the rule of law, which is acknowledged by the United Nations as a cornerstone of its sustainable development agenda. The rule of law facilitates peaceful and productive engagement between different actors across societies. In response, the TIJ will host The TIJ International Forum on the Rule of Law and Sustainable Development "Converging Perspectives from Global to Regional on the Rule of Law" to be a platform for discussions and an exchange of ideas from experts in the network of the globally renowned Institute for Global Law and Policy (IGLP) at Harvard Law School.
At the TIJ International Forum, you will learn about:
The rule of law and policy perspectives
The rule of law and civil participation
The rule of law in global contexts
The rule of law and regional policy adaptation
The rule of law and tackling inequality
You will also have an opportunity to interview and have discussions with experts and young leaders who have a keen interest in legal and policy issues in both Thai and global institutions. The participants will include:
