After claiming the leadership in the Thai small car market, Mazda is wasting no time in going ahead with the introduction of the Mazda2 2018 Collection. Accompanied by the latest "Excitement Never Ends" concept, the 2018 Mazda2 comes with a higher equipment level that will win the hearts of "zoom-zoom" followers, featuring the latest technologies from Mazda such as SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS and G-VECTORING CONTROL (GVC). And to top it off, there is no increase in retail pricing despite coming with more features.
Mr. Chanchai Trakarnudomsuk, President of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co. Ltd., said the introduction of the Mazda2 2018 Collection is expected to help strengthen customer confidence in Mazda's latest model, a subcompact that features the latest technologies and gets continuous improvement throughout its life cycle. This is to give customers an entertaining and exciting driving experience.
"The Mazda2 has maintained high popularity in Thailand all along, with accumulated sales of over 200,000 units since it was first launched," he said. "The present model with SKYACTIV technology was launched in 2015 and has achieved sales of over 80,000 units. The introduction of the Mazda2 2018 Collection today is another channel geared towards maintaining sales success. This year Mazda has set an optimistic sales target of 60,000 units, equivalent to a growth of 15%."
Meanwhile, Mr. Thee Permpongpanth, Senior Marketing Director, added: "For the Mazda2 2018 Collection, we will communicate both through offline and online channels, concentrating on creating consumer awareness through offline media during the launch period, while using online media to reach the lifestyles of target customers.
