Peak Storage (Thailand) sees constant growth of the Thai economy with continuous expansion of logistics-warehouse sectors. Its 2018 plan prepares to enter local and oversea markets on order to increase AEC's revenue proportion to 50% with the complete focus on industrial groups and warehouses. The recent innovation is launched to enhance the moving and transportation efficiency with Loading Dock Systems to serve the expansion of logistics industry and facilitate operators of the industry, expecting the total revenue in 2018 to reach 500 million baht.
Mrs. Wipaporn Thonchanga, Managing Director of Peak Storage (Thailand) Co., Ltd. the importer, distributor of racking systems, providing advices and installation of industrial storage and complete warehouse disclosed that the Thai economy had constantly expanded from the previous year following the recovery of the global economy, trading growth, and investments of the existing manufacturing sectors and the offshoring, e-commerce, and the improvement of the private sector's consumption and investment to countries in ASEAN region.
Meanwhile, Thailand's 5-year development plan (2017- 2021) of the Eastern Economics Corridor or EEC to improve large industrial provinces located in the Eastern region will attract a number of investment the country in the future. As a result, this provides supports to the growth and leads to the increasing demand of the transportation for import and export, as well as utilization of warehouse's spaces; definitely, benefiting logistics service providers and operators whose businesses are relating to logistics system or warehouse.
The Company's operating plan 2018 still focuses on maintaining existing customers and expanding new customer bases more in AEC's countries such as Myanmar, Cambodia, and Vietnam, from its previous entering of Laos' market which has received good responses. The target is to increase the revenue from AEC by 50% from 5% of the existing AEC investment in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Laos, as well as to build more values from services as priority in order to provide the most benefit to the customers.
In addition, the Company has launched the new innovation for warehouse operation with Loading Dock Systems which is the hydraulic loading dock leveler for warehouse and factory which helps make the loading and unloading of products from containers or container trucks. It provides facilitation to the loading dock area with high level of strength and safety hydraulic loading dock leveler with height adjustment. The launch of the innovation is to serve the expansion of the logistics system and to facilitate the operators from different industries and operators from logistics industry by decreasing cost, saving time, decreasing loss occurred within warehouses, resulting in the utmost mid-long term efficiency.
