Thai and expatriates residents in Thailand are invited to chill out in beachfront luxury amid Thailand's most beautiful scenery
Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort is offering Thais and Expats the chance to chill out in April as the temperatures rise over Thailand's New Year Songkran Festival.
The whole country takes time off during Songkran, as well as either side of the festival, which falls on 13 April – 15 April. Busy Bangkok urbanites, in particular, like to cool down by the sea at this time of year and the breathtaking islands of Phi Phi archipelago provide a close-to-home bolthole to relax and recharge by the sparkling waters of the Andaman Sea.
Located in the Nopparattra National Park, Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort offers a choice of comfortable suites, bungalows and villas overlooking an unspoilt bay with glass-like seas. A choice of quality restaurants serves top notch Thai and international cuisine, and the resort's Wana Spa inspires wellbeing and a sense of renewal making it a favourite among Thais and expats alike.
"At Songkran especially, many local people look to escape from the city and de-stress amid natural surroundings with a gentle sea breeze to calm and cool them down after a hectic start to the year," says the resort's General manager, Khun Chao Treenawong.
"Thai New Year is also the ideal time for families to spend quality time together and the Phi Phi Family Playground program offers a full schedule of activities for all ages," he adds.
Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort is known as an ideal a base for guests to explore the National Park's exciting marine environment with adventures above and below the surface of the sea. In February, the resort officially launched its new "Marine Discovery Centre", a unique attraction and social enterprise housing a series of colourful, interactive displays explaining the life cycles and habits of marine species endemic to the Noppharat Thara - Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. The innovative newly built centre also runs special programs to re-introduce clownfish and nurse sharks back into the region's once plentiful waters.
"The Marine Discovery Centre adds a whole new dimension to the resort with environmental conservation now integrated into the vacation experience," explains Khun Treenawong.
To celebrate the Thai New Year holidays, Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort is launching a special Thai Residents and Expatriates package with starting rates for a 3 day, 2 night stay in a Superior Bungalow at THB 21,200 net from 12-30 April 2018, including sea transfers between Phuket and the resort based on the resort's regular boat schedule. Accommodation is inclusive of daily breakfast for two people and includes a one time set dinner for two at resort's main restaurant (food only). There's also a one-time 60-minute Thai massage included for two people.
