Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok celebrates the Songkran Thai New Year Water Festival, in a fun and colourful Chiang Mai-style "Songkran Pool Party" on Friday, 13 April 2018, from 4 to 10 p.m. Access to this special party is priced at Bt2,200 net for adults and Bt1,000 net for children aged 4 to 11 years old.
Guests and their family members will have the opportunity to experience Thailand's famous summer festival by the Chao Phraya River in a traditional and fun ambience, starting with a pool party. This special party features a long drum parade, a waitress race around the pool, Thai dance performances and the traditional Songkran water splashing with friendly strangers. Meanwhile, children may have an ultimate fun moment with a water fight using fancy water guns.
