Mitsubishi Motors Thailand hosts annual skills contest in alliance with its dealer network to raise customer satisfaction

Bangkok--4 Apr--Mitsubishi Motors Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. hosted the 18th Mitsubishi Motors Skills Contest 2017 to promote personnel competency enhancement among its dealers for greater service quality in accordance with Mitsubishi Motors' standard. Mr. Morikazu Chokki, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said "Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has continuously hosted the annual skills contest for almost 2 decades. The contest is one of our core programs of people development for our dealership apart from the regular knowledge and skill training programs. Since bringing highest value to customers is one of our key missions, therefore, we lay an emphasis on people development and recognition among our dealer network nationwide as the staff play a crucial role to directly provide support, troubleshooting, and satisfaction to Mitsubishi's customers." The 18th Mitsubishi Motors Skills Contest 2017 was designed for 6 professional functions from Sales Consultant, Customer Relations, Technician Troubleshooting, Technician Periodic Maintenance, Service Adviser to Parts Staff. This year Mitsubishi Motors Thailand brought more intensive assessment to Sales Consultant and Customer Relations functions with an online pre-test prior to the regional and final rounds for the first time. The 18th Mitsubishi Motors Skills Contest was participated by more than 1,700 contestants from Mitsubishi dealer network nationwide divided into 5 areas of Bangkok, Central, Northern, Northeastern, and Southern. 60 contestants passed to the final competition hold at Education Academy of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand at Lamlooka, Pathum Thani. The final test simulated situation and problem which may occur in a real work in order to assess contestants' level of proficiency, service excellence, and ability to deliver customer satisfaction. Moreover, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand also held a competition for students under the Vocational School Support Project (VSSP) which has been run continuously by Mitsubishi Motors Thailand to provide educational and career opportunity to vocational program students.
