Mr. Patchara said that K PLUS service usage has constantly increased, given its user-friendliness and high security. KBank wants to boost the number of customers and diversity of financial transactions via K PLUS app by focusing on university students and payroll customers, such as more than 50,000 students and staff of Chulalongkorn University. KBank has placed importance on service provision related data and K PLUS usage by KBank branch staff nationwide, because branches are the most popular channel for our customers to subscribe to K PLUS app. KBank has also joined hands with our leading business partners to extend the service network for our customers even further. An example is the cooperation with PTT Public Company Limited to offer free 400 reward points for customers holding PTT Blue Card linked with K PLUS app and making QR code payments on K PLUS at PTT gas stations and retail shops, namely, Cafe Amazon, Texas Chicken, Jiffy, Daddy Dough, Hua Seng Hong Dim Sum and FIT AUTO, where customers can automatically collect points without having to present their cards or numbers. The overwhelming response was confirmed by the fact that the subscription to link K PLUS service with PTT Blue Card had been full only shortly after the launch of the service.
Mr. Patchara summed up that the strategy would enable KBank to maintain leadership in mobile banking and offer anywhere-anytime services that cater to the lifestyles of our target groups. KBank is confident that the number of K PLUS users will increase to 10.8 million this year.
