The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) presents "SET e-Learning", an innovative learning platform, to benefit students of over 100 universities across the country by providing finance and investment practical knowledge of 28 curriculums, aiming to develop quality workforce in securities business and capital market.
In addition, SET has organized seminars for university lecturers to enhance their knowledge, such as blockchain, cyptocurrency, ICO, sustainable development and more.
SET President Pakorn Peetathawatchai said that equipping university students with capital market knowledge and innovation is important for them to become qualified and quality professionals in securities business and listed companies as well as startup entrepreneurs or investors. "SET e-Learning" is the online innovative learning platform for the capital market catering to university lecturers to be a tool in developing their teaching, enable them to conveniently access the integrated categorized content. The move is in line with SET's vision "To Make the Capital Market 'Work'for Everyone", in addition to our role in supporting investors and listed companies towards quality and sustainable growth.
SET e-Learning links to more than 1,800 online contents including VDO clips, articles, infographics, and more. Those contents cover financial planning, investing principles, equity, fixed income, mutual funds and derivatives investment, accessible at any time from all devices i.e. PC, notebook and mobile devices, etc. It also provides online test and certificate of completion.
SET has continuously collaborated with 21 universities under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and 96 leading university networks since 2001 through activities and projects, including seven SET Investment Centers (SET IC), 190 venues of SET Corner, SET on Campus, and SET Young Generation project, New Breed project, Young Financial Star Competition and the Diamond Crown in Economics competition, as well as integration of capital market curriculum into universities' curriculums and training courses for students.
